Location
Farnley Tyas is located between Huddersfield and Holmfirth and is roughly equidistant from the major cities of Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield, below are directions from the M1 and M62, and some maps you may find useful.

How to find us:

From the M1:
1. Depart M1 Junction 39
2. At roundabout, take the A636 (Denby Dale Road) toward Denby Dale / Huddersfield
3. Follow A636 for 2.8 miles
4. At the next roundabout, take the third exit onto the A637 (Bar Lane) towards Huddersfield
5. Follow the A637 for 4.0 miles
6. At the next roundabout, take the first exit onto A642 (Wakefield Road) towards Huddersfield
7. Follow the A642 for 1.3 miles
8. Bear left onto B6433 (Rowley Lane) for 1.0 miles
9. At the bottom of the road turn left onto A629 (Penistone Road) for 142 yards
10.Take the next right onto Woodsome Road, towards Farnley Tyas
11. Follow Woodsome Road for 2.2 miles until you arrive in Farnley Tyas
12. Immediately before the T-junction turn left down the lane which is opposite the entrance to The Golden Cock car park

From M62:
1. Leave the M62 at Exit 24
2. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A629 Blackley New Rd heading to Halifax/Huddersfield for 0.6 miles
3. At the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto A629 Halifax Rd heading toward Huddersfield
Continue to follow A629 for 2.2 miles
4. Take the ramp onto A62 Castlegate Sliproad
Continue to follow A62 0.8 miles
5. Slight left at Southgate 318 ft
6. Slight left at A629 Wakefield Rd for 0.2 miles
7. Slight right at Wakefield Rd for 210 ft
8. Turn right at Somerset Rd 0.6 miles
9. Slight left to stay on Somerset Rd for 0.5 miles
10. Continue on Northgate for 0.3 miles
11. Slight left at Fenay Lane for144 ft
12. Slight left at St Helen's Gate for 0.1 miles
13. Turn right to stay on St Helen's Gate for 0.4 miles
14. Turn right at Woodsome Rd for 1.2 miles
15. Immediately before the T-junction turn left down the lane which is opposite the entrance to The Golden Cock car park
